DIRECTIONS

Getting to Harvard University from the Airport

To get to Harvard, you may take a taxi from Boston's Logan International Airport; the cost to Harvard Square or to the Longwood Medical Area will be approximately $35-$40. You may also take the subway from Logan Airport to many points in Boston and Cambridge, although this is difficult if you have a lot of luggage with you.

The fastest way to get to Harvard's Cambridge campus from the airport using public transportation is to take the new Silver line, a bus that connects Logan Airport to the South Station stop on the Red line. Once you get off the Silver line at South Station, take the Red line inbound (towards Alewife), go six stops and get off at the Harvard Square stop.

To get to the Longwood Medical Area from the Airport: take the silver line to South Station, take the red line to Park Street and transfer to the Green Line. Take the "E" train on the Green line to Longwood Avenue.
