If you are an international scholar, the website from the Interchange Institute can be very helpful. They offer a number of different resources and publications for people who have recently moved to a new country. Their Newcomer's Almanac is a collection of information, advice and cultural interpretation for international newcomers to the United States.

- MIT European Club
This club is one of the largest, most diverse and most active student groups at MIT, though they also welcome Harvard scholars to join them. They currently have about 300 full members and more than 2,800 associate members. Most are Europeans, but they also come from all other parts of the world. Their membership includes graduate students, PostDocs, visiting scholars, and visiting scientists.
